US Grand Prix Drivers Parade

The Drivers Parade is the formal presentation of the teams and their drivers prior to the running of the 10thFormula 1 Aramco United States Grand Prix 2022 on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.  An estimated 440,000 attended the three-day event which concluded with Sunday’s race. 

Williams Racing

The William’s team was established in 1978 and has earned nine World Championships in that time.  William’s lead driver is Nicholas Latifi (#6) who earned a seventh-place finish in 57 races.  Latifi’s teammate is Alexander Albon.  Albon had twice finished third-place in 55 races.  Latifi will start the race in P17 and Albon in P8. 

Scuderia Alpha Tauri

The Alpha Tauri team was established in 1985 and has earned two, first-place finishes.  Alpha Tauri’s lead driver is Pierre Gasly (#10) who earned one first-place finish and three podiums in 104 races.  Gasly’s teammate is Yuki Tsunoda (#22).  Tsunoda’s best finish was fourth place in 40 races.  Gasly will start the race in P11 and Tsunoda in P19. 

Haas F1 Team

The Haas Team was established in 2016 and has earned four, first-place finishes.  Haas’ lead driver is Mick Schumacher (#47) who earned a sixth-place finish in 39 races.  Schumacher’s teammate is Kevin Magnussen (#20).  Magnussen’s highest finish was second place in 138 races.  Schumacher will start the race in P16 and Magnussen in P13.

Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One Team

The Aston Martin team was established in 2018.  Their lead driver is Sebastian Vettel (#5) with four World Championships, 53 first place finishes and 122 podiums.  Vettel’s teammate is Lance Stroll (#18).  Stroll has earned three, third place finishes.  Vettel will start the race in P10 and Stroll in P5. 

Alfa Romero F1 Team ORLEN

The Alfa Romero team was established in 1993.  Alfa Romero’s lead driver is Valtteri Bottas (#77) with ten first place finishes and 67 podiums in 196 races.  Bottas’ teammate is Zhou Guanyu (#24).  Guanyu’s highest finished was eighth place in 18 races.  Bottas will start the race in P7 and Guanyu in P18. 

McLaren F1 Team

The McLaren team  was established in 1966 and has claimed eight World Championships in that time.  McLaren’s lead driver is Daniel Ricciardo (#3) with eight first-place finishes and 32 podiums.  Ricciardo’s teammate is Lando Norris (#4).  Norris has earned one, second-place finish and six podiums.  Ricciardo will start the race in P15 and Norris in P4.

BWT Alpine F1 Team

The Alpine team was established in 1986 and has claimed two World Championships in that time.  Alpine’s lead driver is Fernando Alonso with two F1 World Championships, 32 first-place finishes, and 98 podiums.  Alonso’s teammate is Esteban Ocon.  Ocon has earned two podiums in 107 races.  Alonso will start the race in P14 and Ocon in P20. 

Mercedes - AMG Petronas Formula 1 Team

The Mercedes team was established in 1970 and has claimed eight World Championships in that time. Mercedes’ lead driver is Lewis Hamilton with seven World Championships, 103 first place finishes and 188 podiums.  Hamilton’s teammate is George Russell (#63).  Russell has earned two second-place finishes and eight podiums in 78 races.  Hamilton will start the race in P3 and Russell in P4. 

Scuderia Ferrari

The Ferrari team was established in 1950 and has claimed 16 World Championships in that time.  Ferrari’s lead driver is Charles Leclerc (316) with five first-place finishes and 22 podiums.  Leclerc’s teammate is Carlos Sainz (55).  Sainz has earned one first-place finish and 14 podiums.  Leclerc will start the race in P12 (power unit penalty) and Sainz in P1. 

Red Bull Racing Limited

The Red Bull Racing team was established in 1997 and has claimed four World Championships in that time. Red Bull’s lead driver is Max Verstappen (#1) with two World Championship titles, 32 first-place finishes and 74 podiums.  Verstappen’s teammate is Sergio Perez (#11).  Perez has earned four first-place finishes and 24 podiums.  Verstappen will start the race in P2 and Perez in P9 (power unit penalty).
