Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America Practice Sessions at COTA

The Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America series kicked off its weekend at the Circuit of The Americas with two practice sessions on Friday. The Pro, Pro-Am, and Am classes all saw competitive action as drivers prepared for the upcoming races.

Pro Class

·      Danny Formal in the No. 1 Wayne Taylor Racing with Andretti Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 set the fastest lap time of the day in the afternoon practice session, clocking in at 2:07.299 seconds.

·      Ernie Francis co-driver Giano Taurino, also impressed with a strong showing throughout the day.

Pro-Am Class

·      The Pro-Am class was closely contested, with Nick Persing and Nate Stacy in the No. 8 car edging out Patrick LIddy and Brian McDonald in the No. 72 car by a narrow margin.

Am Class

·      Connor Bloum, driving alongside Mark Wilgus in the No. 50 car, dominated the Am class, securing the fastest lap times in both practice sessions.

The practice sessions provided valuable track time for all drivers, allowing them to fine-tune their setups and prepare for the qualifying and race sessions. With the top contenders setting competitive lap times, the weekend promised to be full of exciting racing action at the Circuit of The Americas.
