World Endurance Championship Delivers Thrilling Race at Lone Star Le Mans

The Lone Star Le Mans, the fourth round of the 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), showcased intense competition and high-speed action at the Circuit of the Americas. Despite challenging conditions, the teams and drivers put on a remarkable display of endurance racing.

In the top Hypercar class, the AF Corse team emerged victorious, securing their first win of the season. Robert Kubica, Robert Shwartzman and Yifei Ye showcased exceptional teamwork and strategy to maintain a comfortable lead throughout the race. 

Mike Conway, Kamui Kobayashi and Nyck De Vries of Toyoto Gazoo Racing and Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina and Nicklas Nielsen of Ferrari AF Corse completed the podium, but the battle for these positions was intense throughout the race. 

In the LMGTE class, Heart of Racing Team of Ian James, Daniel Mancinelli and Alex Riberas secured a dominant win, with Manthey Purerxcing ( Aliaksandr Malykhin, Joel Sturm and Klaus Bachler) and Manthey Ema (Yasser Shahin, Morris Schuring and Richard Lietz) rounding out the podium. 

The Lone Star Le Mans was a resounding success, highlighting the excitement and competitiveness of the FIA World Endurance Championship. The Circuit of the Americas provided a challenging and demanding track, pushing the teams and drivers to their limits. With the championship battle intensifying, the remaining races of the season promise to be even more thrilling.
