April 29, 2025The No. 1 Texas Longhorns continued their dominant season with an 11-2 victory over Prairie View A&M on Tuesday night at UFCU Disch-Falk Field. The Longhorns (38-5) have now won 10 straight games, marking their best start since 2004.
Casey Borba and Kimble Schuessler led the Texas offense, each driving in three runs. Easton Winfield had a breakout performance, hitting his first home run as a Longhorn as part of a four-hit night. Hudson Hamilton was a standout in relief, pitching a season-long three hitless innings, striking out three and retiring nine of the ten batters he faced. Aiden Moffett, Ethan Walker, and Cody Howard each pitched one inning to close out the game for the Longhorns, who finished their 4-0 homestand with the win.
