Cedar Park Timberwolves convincingly beat undefeated Connally Cougars

The Cedar Park Timberwolves proved again they were State Champion material by convincingly beating the undefeated Connally Cougars, 56-0. 

Cedar Park began the night with an on-side kick.  After the Connally drive sputtered, resulting in a punt, Cedar Park drove the field, producing a 5-yard touchdown run by Tyler Lavine.  What followed was 49 unanswered points by Storm Jensen, Mak Sexton, Hayden Craig, Omar Alzer, Daniel Rosenthal and Payden Sawicki.  Cedar Park assembled 453 total offense yards compared to Connally’s 78 yards.  

Given the lopsided score, you would think Cedar Park went over the top.  No.  They played a disciplined football game that was simply too much for Connally.  Cedar Park truly displayed the characteristics of a Division 5A State Football Champion.
