Cedar Ridge rolls over Westwood, closes with perfect regular season

It was Senior Night for Cedar Ridge, and the Cedar Ridge Football Raiders sent the Seniors out in style.  The first half looked uncomfortably like a run-away mauling, with Cedar Ridge putting up 42 unanswered points.  Touchdowns came from:  C.J. Rittenhouse (16-yard run and 17-yard run), Simi Bakare (33-yard run), Colby Peterson (60-yard pass from Garrett Sharp), Jaylen Ellis (50-yard pass from Garrett Sharp) and Dayon Ramsey-Graham (32-yard interception).  The second half brought a completely different tone as Cedar Ridge Head Coach Shawn Bell dialed it back.  Westwood eventually found the end zone in the third quarter on a 9-yard run by Miles Webber, but the point after failed.  Cedar Ridge scored again in the fourth quarter on a 2-yard run by Chris Drewy II.  Final score was Cedar Ridge 49, Westwood 6.  Cedar Ridge closed the season at 10-and-0 (District: 5-and-0).  Westwood completed the season at 5-and-5 (District: 2-and-4), which was greatly improved over last season.
