Cedar Ridge shows no mercy against Stony Point

Cedar Ridge Raiders took no prisoners in Friday’s game against the Stony Point Tigers.  Cedar Ridge’s scoring blitz began on Stony Point’s first possession, with a 50-yard interception and touchdown by Colby Peterson.  The Raiders put two additional touchdowns on the board, a 3-yard pass from Garrett Sharp to Grant McCartney and a 21-yard pass from Garrett Sharp to Cash Rugely, before the Tigers scored their only points of the evening on a 33-yard field goal by Santiago Maya.  Turnovers continued to plaque the Tigers, resulting in 23-yard interception and touchdown by Jamir Williams and a 33-yard fumble recovery turned touchdown by Edgerrin Williams.   Final score was Cedar Ridge 56 and Stony Point 3.  Cedar Ridge is 7-and-0 on the season, while Stony Point fell to 1-and-6.
