Demetri McCamey and Jarell Eddie to rejoin Austin Spurs

The Austin Spurs announced that Demetri McCamey and Jarell Eddie are rejoining the team for the upcoming 2016 – 2017 season. 

McCamey joined the Spurs for the 2015 – 2016 season, averaging 9.4 points in 55 games.  Previously, Demetri played two years of International league basketball, first in Australia and then in Japan.

Eddie also joined the Spurs for the 2015 – 2016 season.  Jarell played only 11 games, averaging 14.1 points per game, before signing with the Washington Wizards.  Eddie played 26 games with the Wizards, averaging 5.7 minutes and 2.4 points per game.  On October 21, he was waived by the Wizards after appearing in three preseason games, and reacquired by the Austin Spurs on October 29, 2016. 

The Spurs season begins on November 13 against the Oklahoma City Blue at the HEB Cedar Park Center.
