Express Defensively Solid, but Bats Fall Silent

Round Rock Express was shutout by the Omaha Storm Chasers 3-0.  This was Nick Tepesch’s first loss of the season, allowing three runs on nine hits in five innings.  One of the few offensive highlights was a one-out double by James Jones.   The Express bullpen did their job well,
combining to shut out the Storm Chasers over the final four innings of the
game.
