Gallo gets call to help Rangers regain their stride

The Texas Rangers have recalled infielder Joey Gallo to put some power into the line-up as they strive to regain their winning momentum.   According to MLBPipeline.com, Gallo is the Ranger’s number one prospect in the program.  Gallo has dramatically improved his presence at the plate this season, reducing the number of strikeouts, and significantly increasing the number of
walks, all the while hitting 19 home runs.  However, he is a work in progress with regards to hitting to the opposite field.  Gallo has played both first and third bases for the Express this season.
