Hendrickson Hawks Overwhelm Westwood Warriors

Hendrickson scored on their first eight possessions and led Westwood 51-0 in the first half of their District 13-6A opener.  Hendrickson held Westwood to two first downs with 13 total yards and caused two interceptions in the half.  The Warriors did not taking the field for the final 35 seconds of the half, after getting the ball on downs. 

The Hendrickson blitzkrieg continued until mid-way through the third quarter with two additional touchdowns (TDs).  Westwood scored later the third and again in the fourth quarters.  Hendrickson won 64-13.  

Hendrickson rushed for 372 yards, averaging nearly 8 yard per carry with 524 yards of offense.  Westwood was held to 221 yards of offense, nearly all occurring the second half, with 131 yards rushing (4.9 yards per carry) and 90 yards passing.  

Hendrickson quarterback Blaine Barker passed for 81 yards, including 2 TDs, and rushed 6 times for 101 yards and 1 TD.  Xavier Lucio replaced Barker in the second quarter and threw for one TD and rushed for another.  Drew Conley rushed for 73 yards (6.1 yards per carry) and scored two TDs.  Timieone Jackson rushed for 85 yards (10.6 yards per carry) and found the end zone once.  Also scoring TDs were Gage Mahoney, Kamryn Nobles, Terrance Walker, Khayree Somerville and Jaden Williams.  

Westwood quarterback RJ Martinez threw for 67 yards with 2 interceptions, and scored a rushing TD.  Tavon Ousley replace Martinez and also scored on the ground.
