Cougars out-claw Bobcats in one-sided cat fight

The University of Houston Cougars dominated the Texas State Bobcats, generating 563 yards of total offense, with an average of 6.9 yards per play.  Texas State produced only 142 yards of offense with an average of 2.5 yards per play.   Texas State’s only score originated from a Houston on-side kick that was recovered by the Bobcats, resulting in excellent field position and a field goal.  Final score was 64-3.  This was Texas State’s worst defeat since a 72-8 loss to New Mexico in 2003.
