Milwaukee Bucks sign Orlando Johnson

Congratulations to Orlando Johnson on his signing to the Milwaukee Buck training camp roster.  Johnson was called up to the NBA twice in the 2015 / 2016 season, once by the Phoenix Suns and later by the New Orleans Pelicans.

For the last two years Johnson has been strong and essential presence with the Austin Spurs, leading them to the NBA-D Western Conference playoffs in both years.  Throughout his time with the Spurs Johnson was an intense, competitive player with the most dramatic facial expressions on the court.  He was named to the West All-Star team for the 2016 NBA D-League All-Star Game.

Johnson is a natural shooting guard, but played a variety of roles for the Spurs including point guard and small forward.  Last season with Spurs he averaged 15.5 points, 43% field goals, 82% free throw, 5.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.
