San Antonio Rampage start strong, Texas Stars can’t catch-up

Returning from a disappointing road trip, the Texas Stars sought to make amends in their home match against the San Antonio Rampage.   The Star played with energy and passion, but it wasn’t enough to overcome a slow first period start.

Power play conversion was the major factor.  The Rampage capitalized on 2-of-8 power plays, while Texas went 0 for 4 with the man advantage.  San Antonio won with a final score of 2-to-4, which included an open net goal in the final minutes.  Notable performance from the Stars came from
Cole Ully and Matej Stransky, each with a goal, and Julius Honka with two assists.

The Stars next play Ontario Reign this Friday and Saturday at home.
