Southwestern University swimming starts season with victory over Austin College

The Southwestern men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams posted victories over Austin College in Saturday’s season opener at Walzel Natatorium. 

Noteworthy winning performances came from:

- Simmon Belaineh, 100-yard breaststroke, 100-yard freestyle and 200-yard medley relay team

- Cara Chin, 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard butterfly

- Erika Dubros, 100-yard breaststroke and 100-yard freestyle

- Peter Robinson,100-yard breaststroke and 200-yard backstroke.

Both teams travel to Arkadelphia, Ark to compete against Rhodes and Ouachita Baptist.
