Spurs win at buzzer in overtime

Trailing for most of the game, the Erie Bayhawks mounted a fourth quarter surge and out-scored the Austin Spurs 30-to-18 to forced overtime.  The overtime period was a tense back-and-forth nail bitter and ended as Austin’s Bryn Forbes drained a three-pointer at the buzzer.  The most intense action occurred in the final minutes of the fourth quarter and the over overtime period, as the lead changed hands four times and the game was tied six times.  Final score was Austin Spurs 109, Erie Bayhawks 106.   The win raises Austin to 3-and-1 for the season, and drops Erie to 0-and-3.  

Six Austin Spurs player scored in double-digits: Cheick Diallo (21), Bryn Forbes (17), Dejounte Murray (16), Livio Jean-Charles (14), Pato Garino (12) and Cory Jefferson (12).  Nearly 5500 fans enjoyed the games.  The Spurs next travel to Sioux Falls to face the Skyforce.
