Confident Texas State Cannot Overcome Hot University of Texas Team

Texas State pitchers combined for 10 strikeouts against the University of Texas, but the Longhorns produced eight hits to beat out Texas State, 6-2.   Standouts for Texas State included: Ryan Newman, going 2-for-4 with two RBIs; and Tanner Hill, who also went 2-for-4, both
hits were doubles.
