Texas State volleyball bends but cannot break Baylor

The Texas State Women’s Volleyball team competed against the Baylor Bears before a record home crowd attendance.  The Bobcats appeared a little intimidated in the opening set, but the impression quickly disappeared.  Texas State fought tough, causing Baylor to bend, but could not break the Bears.  The Bears took the Bobcats in four sets.

Jordan Kohl led the Bobcats with 21 kills, a season-high, and was followed by Kelsey Weynand with 13 kills and seven digs.  Emily Shelton recorded a double-double of 36 assists and 12 digs.  Both Micah Dinwiddie and Alex Silver reached double-digits in digs with 14 and 11, respectively.
