Starworks Motorsport takes Prototype Challenge class at WeatherTech SportCar Champion at Circuit of the Americas

WeatherTech Sportscar Championship is the flagship IMSA series, competing at 12 locations throughout North America.  The championship came to Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas this weekend.  The competition takes place in four different classes: Prototype, Prototype Challenge, GT Le Mans and GT Daytona.  The Prototype Challenge (PC) class is a spec class featuring open-cockpit race cars using technology such as a carbon fiber chassis, carbon brakes and sequential gearbox.  The Starworts Motorsport car, driven by Alex Popow and Renger van Der Zande, won the PC class race.
